Glimpses Of Memories About Muhammad Ali Jinnah

Muhammad Ali Jinnah was born on December 25th, 1876, in Karachi. He was a British-Indian Muslim politician, barrister and founder of the nation of Pakistan. He is also considered to be the "Father of the Nation" of Pakistan.

This blog post is not just about recounting his life story but also giving a glimpse into my own memories of him.

I distinctly remember the day when I heard the news of his death on September 11th, 1948. I was only nine years old at that time but the impact it had on me was profound. The entire nation mourned his death and there were widespread reports of people coming out onto the streets and weeping inconsolably.

1. Who Was Muhammad Ali Jinnah?

We believe that independence of Pakistan came at the price of irreversible principle,as our leader,Mohammad Ali Jinnah was assassinated in front of he’s nowhere in the garden.Post his death,I was just 14 years old and was so confused, just by imagining of the person can influence the lives of millions of people. At that time Noora Surti simply was talking about natural colours and Hanuman in my universe and in my conscious suffered a deadlock. It is a very sad news for me and for the whole nation.

Prem Bedi, the media brain and essayist from Deccan Herald wrote about his great personality and learned and wise character. He introduced Jinnah as a visionary in her article.

The eulogy of the father was not only written by Pt.M.Y.Sawant but N.P.Singh wrote the eulogy of the father too.

So the history and biography novels of Jinnah are so vividly identical in their presentations, though in written form neither of them come anywhere near us but it shows a complete knowledge of the complex and rich history of Jinnah. So I had bookmarked and watched this video to bring courage on story of life of Jinnah.

2. How Did Muhammad Ali Jinnah Start His Career?

In my childhood days of learning, I used to love to read history books. I used to wonder how the world could arrive at such a messy point in the early part of the 20th century. I always liked to challenge myself and ask how did this entity be formed by a mixture of English and Hindustani, and what happened to the Muslims?

So I decided to do some digging and that's how I found out about Muhammad Ali Jinnah of Pakistan and how he started his career.

According to me, Jinnah came to power right on time. Had he not come into existence then, we would be experiencing much more bloodshed today.

3. How Did He Influenced Thinking and Modern Ideology in Pakistan's Creation?

This man was as far removed from the rest of us as anyone else can ever be.

If you are reading this post, you first of all probably know that Pakistan is not considered to be a great country to live in. It's a hopeless place filled with poverty, corruption and identity struggles in its society as a whole.

But, if all these problems blow your mind that Muhammad Ali Jinnah preached are either not existent, or no longer relevant in how modern sort of society operates, well, then here comes the cheeky bit about his legacy that I just want to mention here. How was the idea of Pakistan influenced by him?

I am not going to delve into questions of methodology of the founding of a nation like that here. If any one wishes to read them in a more thorough way, there is plenty out there to learn of his role in the history of Pakistan before we dive into a more philosophical discussion about his life and work in Pakistan.

For my quick and short-pitched insights on how Jinnah's ideas about Pakistan can be seen over the years, this quick list here will do just fine. They most probably won't be too far off from what you have seen in Pakistan today.

- Jinnah brought the concept of one nation under one country.

- Indigenous languages out of existence.

- Two kinds of citizenship for the people; British and Muslim.

4. Why Was Muhammad Ali Jinnah in Politics?

Even before his birth Jinnah opted to become a politician and show his disapproval for the British approach to India.

His father described him as,

"blasphemous boy, he will make India free from the British rule".

Soon after the partition he attended the Oxford University. It was there where he got the urge to form a Muslim Indian National Movement.

5. Mohamamd Ali Jinnah married and got two Children?

Jinnah's parents couldn't afford a big wedding for the boy so they somehow arranged an aristocratic wedding with a huge ceremony.

This set the tone for his own later happy married life when an arranged wedding became a public spectacle of a princely glory.

Jinnah married the daughter of a Gujarati landlord as per the rakhsia system and he gained a rich estate.

When he got married in 1907, there was no free food and accommodation at the wedding for the guests. So it was the tradition for the meal to be provided by the new bride's ancestral home.

The food was delicious and later its plighted guests were offered English breakfast and tea as well as German beer in the garden.

6. What was the Intellectual and (Politics) Influence of the Father?

I'm hoping this little script will help enlighten you and help in writing even a better answer for me for the final round.

I've graced the CEO and Founder of Jumper Global (www.jumperglobal.com ) with my curious mind, it would mean so much to me if I win the challenge.

If you work for over 2500 companies worldwide and small to mid-sized companies, you can mention more than one.

Get out there and start placing your resume on our target companies, you wouldn't be disappointed in where you get hiring.

As CEO and founder you are perhaps in charge of HR and recruitment. Care to introduce me to the people who have the final say on recruitment when hiring a candidate? Seriously, introducing me as the founder of Jumper Global would be an outreach and marketing machine that I could not ignore.

It would be a great face-to-face introduction to them as sub-head of HR and their first impression of this founder like word of mouth, their belief in me could entertain millions of opening possibilities.

I am currently looking for a Transformational Leadership Role in Ogilvy and Mather's Southeast region. It’s a beautiful place and I would worry about my own safety as much as any loved ones.

I request it because I am looking to do work that goesviral and gain ooh's and ah's.

I have been reading old newspapers and magazines to collect material for my book on the Quaid-e-Azam. This is a selection of what I found about the Quaid's early life and his visits to different parts of the world.

It is an excerpt from my forthcoming book Glimpses of Memories About Muhammad Ali Jinnah.

The Quaid-e-Azam was born on December 25, 1876, in a two-storeyed house at Wazir Mansion, in the city of Karachi. His father, Jinnahbhai Poonja, was originally from Mitha Tiwana, a village in the district of Gujrat. His mother, Rattanbai, was a lady of strong character and great determination.
